You become a member of one of our plans when you work for a company that has a collective agreement with the United Steelworkers, your position is in the bargaining unit and the company participates in the IWA–Forest Industry Pension and/or LTD Plan.

Our members are the focus of the work we do. It is no accident that the term members features prominently in our mission statement: "To provide pension and disability benefits to members, supported by quality services and accurate information."

Just as we have a responsibility to our members, we ask that our members take an active role in supporting our work on their behalf, by keeping in touch with our office. The more informed our members are, the better our Plans will work for all members.
